Private Wheel-Throwing Class - A Hands-On Clay Experience
Step into the studio and experience the magic of the pottery wheel in this private wheel-throwing class at Karacotta Ceramics in Lake Tahoe. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to refine your skills, this one-hour session is designed just for you (and a friend, partner, or solo).

Each session is $95 per person, per hour and includes:

• Personalized instruction (just you or you and one guest—max 2 students)

• Professional pottery wheels and studio tools

• High-quality clay and all materials

• Firing and clear glazing (to make your pieces food-safe and functional)

• Multiple finished pieces per person

• Pick-up or shipping available (shipping at student’s cost) in ~2 weeks

Glazing is not done during class—your work will be dried, bisque-fired, and glazed in our signature clear finish. Local students can return for a separate glazing session (additional fee).

This class is ideal for curious creatives, date nights, parent-child duos, or anyone wanting to try their hand at the wheel. We recommend booking a 2-hour session for two students to make the most of your experience.
