Ceramics 101 Hand-building Workshop (Public)

Curious about the wild world of ceramics? Unlock your creativity in our engaging, fun two-hour workshop, taking place at the Karacotta studio.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, our expert instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of ceramic techniques, clay types, glazing, firing, and general best practices. We'll unleash your inner artist by making your chosen custom project (ie planter, mug, jewelry or pet dish) using pinch pot, slab and coil techniques! We'll wrap up class by decorating, glazing and signing our unique pieces. 

After class, the Karacotta team will fire the pieces to become durable and food safe - they'll be ready for pick-up 2-3 weeks from the class date.

You're welcome to bring any additional drinks/snacks to enjoy before and during class. Doors open 10 minutes before class and close 5 minutes after start.
